Literacy Program and Walk Through Program
Our
mission for our Storyland field trips is to promote
early literacy and show young children how fun
reading really can be.
Here at Storyland, we offer two field trip programs
that help promote literacy. We want to be able to
team up with teachers and schools, and provide a
fun-filled experience, with a focus on reading.
Our two field trip options are as follows:
Literacy Program:
Teachers and students will receive the opportunity
to walk-thru Storyland, take a ride on the Willis B.
Kyle Express Train, and enjoy a LIVE interactive
performance of a childhood nursery rhyme, put on by
our very own Mother Goose.
The Literacy Program is offered to teachers,
students, and parents for a price of: $4.00 per
person (One teacher per class, will get in
free). You also have the option to add a juice bar
to your field trip at $1.00 per person.
Walk-Thru Program:
The walk-thru program includes a walk-thru of
Storyland and is offered to teachers, students, and
parents for a price of $2.00 for children and
$2.75 for parents and teachers (One
teacher per class, will get in free) . You also have
the options to purchase a train ride on the Willis
B. Kyle Express Train for $1.25 per person,
or a juice bar for $1.00 per person.
Field Trips can be booked Wednesdays through Fridays
starting February 20th, 2008. If you are interested
